Newly planted L'Acadie Blanc vines opening up. Five vines of this variety were added to the vineyard this year. For those who aren't familiar with this variety, it was developed in Ontario and is grown in Nova Scotia and Quebec. It is primarily used as a white wine blending partner, though I understand it can be made in a Chardonnay style with good results. Now to grow it out for several years and find out how it does south of the border!
